Here are my thoughts on this.

1.       What Mr. Carney needs to understand that this is a presidential election and everything about a presidential  candidate is going to be scrutinized. That’s the way it should be and it doesn’t matter if the candidate and his staff don’t like it. You are adults, Start acting like it.

2.       I understand the “mainstream media” argument and agree with it to a certain extent. But I also think that it can be used as a red herring. This is obviously an issue that Mitt Romney and his staff do not want to talk about, they will and his supporters will use the mainstream argument to try and avoid the question.  That is obviously what happened here.  Mr. Carney is a Romney spokesman and decided to use the mainstream argument to avoid answering the question.  I don’t think the mainstream argument applies here. Tamron  Hall was doing her job and I commend her for that.
